Anyone for a shoe or two?
Victor Victorious
This is our driver Victor standing by our car in the car park at the apartment. It's a very tight squeeze to fit the car in there as the parks are made for small Indian cars not BIG, diesel guzzling family wagons like this.

Don't Panic
Those of you who know me well know that I love a change and I was just having a little play and was feeling a tad creative, let me at that scrapping please, I need to sit and create.
Wishing I was home this weekend to go away on a retreat and scrap all weekend long. No kids, no cooking, no husband and nothing else to do but sit and chat to good friends, eat lollies and use up some of this endless supply of scrapbooking paper and scrap photo's of my beautiful children.
The football has just come on the TV, Oh, I do feel like I am at home.
Andrew is working tomorrow so you never know what I might get up to. A swim at the pool and maybe a dabble in that photo pile.
On one of my shopping trips with Mum and Kerrie prior to coming over here, Mum found a very large green tub that she thought would be great to put some water in for Mac to play in, I said Andrew would kill us if we took that home, but she insisted and as you know you should always listen to your Mum because she usually knows best. So we managed to fit it in the back of the car to get it home and I told Mum she could explain to Andrew. He was rather overwhelmed by the size of it, but he got over himself and as he also knows, my Mum always knows best.
So yesterday we put some water in it and let Mac have some fun. He LOVED it and did not want to get out. I sat close by and constantly reminding him not to drink the water, which is quite a normal thing for him to do when having a bath, Yuk. I don't think any of the water got consumed and he is still alive and well today. You really have no idea how horrible the water is here and the stuff in it is revolting. And we shower in it. Never mind, it filled in some time and kept him happy.

Home Sweet Home
I would hate to be the one opening the door
I write this post as I sit at my very own kitchen table and I couldn't be happier. How nice it feels to be surrounded by all our worldly goods. We arrived at the apartment on Saturday morning and were very happy to see the truck waiting there for us. It was touch and go, with the tree being removed the day before, and no there was no chainsaw just two men sitting on the ground with the most antiquated saw I have seen, sawing away, it took them hours.
It was amazing to see these 6 quite small men lifting and carrying all the boxes up 2 flights of stairs. We had a couple of casualties one of the dinning room chairs was broken, my salon mirror smashed, one of my favorite noodle bowls broken and no Pandora bracelet. Oh well I will look forward to seeing it in 2 years time. Not much at all I can do.

Mac and his Friend
What will Mac do when we leave this apartment and he doesn't have Pintoo to play with anymore?
He has taken a real liking to him, maybe because he sits and plays with him. You would think he had more to do, with all the housework and washing we generate in this place.
I guess it's better than him spending time sitting and laying on my kitchen bench where he prepares our meals and irons our clothes. (yes feet on the bench too)
Pintoo has an 8 month old little girl who lives 3 days travel on a train away, so he must really miss her. He was totally in awe of some of the kids toys and I think he may even have a little play with them while we are out. Just another reminder of how lucky our kids are. I wish they would realize that.
So, as of tomorrow, hopefully, little Mac will have to put up with his Mum and Margaret if he wants someone to play with.

"Master"
It's an "I Dream Of Jeannie" moment.
I feel like crossing my arms and nodding my head and wishing myself into that little Jeannie bottle, how pleasant that must have been in that bottle, no kids, no horns tooting and only a "Master" to serve. And with that cute body of hers any wonder she could fit in there.
This has all come about because that dear husband of mine has a new name. He is now officially called "Master".
I hear it all day long,
"Ask Master"
"I will go and pick up Master now"
"When will Master be coming home?"
"Will Master be home for tea?"
"Good morning Master"
"Thank you Master"
And again 20 times a day "Ask Master"
And isn't he loving it, even the kids have started calling him that.
The help here are all very formal and have huge respect for their employers, I on the other hand get called "Madame". "No, I say, my name is Megan". "Yes Madame".
So picture this, me kicking back in my plush Jeannie bottle in my skimpy little Jeannie costume. Oh dear, that was supposed to be my dream, not your nightmare !!!!!!!!
"Yes Master"
