Air Shipment Arrival

Last night we received our air shipment and it was like Christmas.
We had been expecting it to arrive the night before but being India it arrived a day late. The guy from the shipping company had told us it would be here at 6.30 pm and the kids where just about jumping out of their skin with excitement. By 8pm still no sign of it so Andrew made a call and the guy said they had left the airport and would be another 15 mins. HUH. At 9pm the doorbell rang and in came 3 very hot and sweaty little Indians that certainly didn't look like they could haul 25 boxes up the 20 steps to our apartment( I know that as Mac and I count them as we walk up them ). Great excitement, even poor Pintoo was excited.

It is really amazing what you deem as important when packing to move to a foreign country. Most things arrived unscathed, apart from a few packets of chips and my straw sun hat. Still no Pandora bracelet, I am living in hope for the sea shipment. Andrew tells me I am very irresponsible. Hey you cant be that organized when 8 people turn up at your house at 8am and start tearing it apart.

Poor little Mac is desperate for toys as we didn't bring too much for him to play with, thinking that we wouldn't be in temp accom. for very long and that he would have his toys soon, but there is a problem with the releasing of the sea shipment, more in the next post about THAT. So today we are off to buy a few things for him to do.

Oh well I am off to unpack some boxes..........
